Do a painting or a drawing using the theme – ‘My
Ocean'
-
Use
your creativity to interpret in your painting of your view of the ocean. What it
means to you? Why is the Ocean important? What is the Ocean?'
2)Painting
must be A4 (297mm x 210mm)
or A3 297mm x 420mm
- portrait format is preferred

5. All
entries will receive acknowledgement of receipt by email only.
6. Judging is on
10 August 2011 - The entries will be split into two age groups: Age
7
to 10 and Age 11 to 15. The entires will be judged and awarded for each age group
respectively.
Preliminary Round Winners will be announced on
20 August 2011
by
email. Check at

All 50 finalists and respective parent or guardian are
invited to attend the PREMIER round at
the Sintesa Peninsula Hotel, Manado, 24 September 2011 ; the finalists
will be required to do a painting BETWEEN 11AM TO 2PM.
Participation in the premier round is optional, but you must register to attend
the Premier Round by 28 August 2011 and
you must be one of the 50 finalist in the Preliminary Round – email

PREMIER round winners will be announced during the Celebrate the Sea Awards
Ceremony.

Terms &
Conditions of Entry:
1. The prizes do not include any transport or accommodation.
2. Entrants must be between the ages of
7
to 15 years.
3. A parent or guardian must give consent by submitting all entries personally –
and must be present during the Premiere round.
4. An acceptance e-mail will be sent to confirm the entry is legitimately sent
by a parent / guardian.
5.
Preliminary Round will be judged by associates of OceanNEnvironment and
Ocean
Geographic. The decision will be final. No correspondence will be entered into.
6. Original artwork will not be returned.
7. There are no fees or legal obligations of any form by submitting work BUT the
author shall release the organiser of all claims and indemnities. And drawings
and painting shall become copyrighted property of OceanNEnvironment.
8. Competitions may be cancelled without notice by the event organisers at any
stage.
